With such a huge selection of food types and brands on the market, how do we decide what food to give our cats and how do we decide what to sell here at The Cat Life?
My childhood cats loved to eat Whiskas cat food. It was their favourite.
My little princess cat loved Gourmet cat food. My cats now, all love Felix wet food and Purina chicken dry food.
I don't really get to decide what my cats eat, they let me know.
We once bought salmon biscuits instead of chicken and two out of three refused to eat them. A friend gave me some Go Cat biscuits and one of my cats refused to eat them but the other two liked them. Wet food in gravy they're not fond of either.
Actually, one of my cats will eat anything. Food is his life, hobby and dream. If he's not crying for food, he's asleep dreaming about food. If the fridge is opened, he's there. If I phone for a food take-away, he somehow knows and spends the entire time after the call sat by the door until it arrives. He then sits on the arm of the sofa next to me and waits until I've finished as he knows I've saved him some. If he's impatient, he'll wait until I'm distracted and try and grab something off my plate. My boy has no limits when it comes to food. In the morning (5am), he'll dive off the headboard and land on the bed until you wake up.
